Gearbox President and CEO Randy Pitchford has taken to Twitter to reveal work has begun on DLC for Borderlands 2 and stated it’ll be done with “even more juice” than the previous game.
One of the things which stood out for the original Borderlands was the wealth and depth of the DLC add-ons with four huge DLCs available adding brand new locations, hundreds of missions and more bang for your buck than ever before.
But now it seems Pitchford wants to up the ante and provide even more content when DLC hits Borderlands 2. We already know within 60-90 days of the game launching we will be seeing a fifth playable character titled the Mechromancer hit as DLC, and better yet it will be free for those who pre-order.
With Borderlands 2 finishing, we can really get going on DLC! Note to self: Achievement design is fun.
With Borderlands 2 done we can get on DLC with even more juice than last time – we’ll get some info out about plans as soon as we can!
